One FM is one of the Chinese radio stations in Malaysia with a large group of listeners. It is aired in the Klang Valley as well as most of Malaysia that includes the north, south, east and in East Malaysia. One FM is operated by Media Prima, the largest private media company which owns TV3, NTV7 and 8TV television channels.One FM’s sister stations include Fly FM which is one of the top English Language radio stations today. Apart from the Klang Valley, One FM is heard in places like Ipoh, Johor, Kuantan, Melaka, Negeri Sembilan as well as in Kuching and Kota Kinabalu, the state capitals of Sarawak and Sabah respectively. This is an important aspect of One FM was it started out only broadcasting to listeners to the Klang Valley before expanding its coverage to reach a larger listener base.

In the Klang Valley, One FM is aired over 88.1 Mhz which is the same for listeners in certain parts of southern Perak, Melaka and northern Johor while listeners from other states tune into One FM via varying frequencies.

One FM began broadcasting in the beginning of 2009 and has continued to bring the best in Chinese entertainment to its listeners nationwide. It is aired using Mandarin and Cantonese languages respectively which mainly plays the latest Chinese hits from Hong Kong, Taiwan, Singapore and Malaysia. Its slogan today is ‘Most Hit’ which has been changed in 2012 from its ‘You Are My No.1’ slogan from 2009 when it first started.
